The newest recipient of the prestigious St. Onge Prize in French and Fancophone Studies is Rebecca Lamb, a double-major in French and Francophone Studies and International Relations. The prize is awarded to outstanding students who are continuing their studies in graduate school. Rebecca has fond memories of her courses in French, particularly with Prof. Magali Compan. From her classes on campus to an unforgettable semester abroad in Montpellier, she considers her experiences with the Program in French and Francophone Studies and MLL as essential milestones in her time at W&M. She will be attending University of Virginia School of Law this coming fall, with the hopes of one day using her French as an international lawyer. Congratulations Rebecca!
