My name is Kara Smith. My major is Chinese Language and Culture. The Chinese program at William and Mary has helped me to improve my language ability and become more confident in my speaking skills. One of the memories that I will take with me is the opportunity to study abroad at Tsinghua University. Experiencing Chinese culture for the first time was such an amazing experience, and I leave William and Mary feeling prepared for the next step. After graduation, I will be attending graduate school at George Washington University, where I will continue to study Chinese.
